Investigators in Haltom City say 46-year-old Jesus Vela-Alferez had a dispute over a 1099 tax form with someone he had worked for who lives in a house on Eastridge Drive, and that's what led him to fire ten shots into the house back on February 16th.

One of those shots hit a 4-year-old girl in the leg.

Home surveillance cameras captured the pickup truck's license plates and Vela was captured the next day.

He was booked into the Tarrant County Jail where he's facing five charges, including injury to a child. Vela is being held on a $140,000 bond.
