Arlington police are releasing the dashcam video from last week's incident where a wrong-way driver nearly slammed head-on into a police car with two officers inside.
The video shows a squad car heading north on Cooper Street when a car comes around a curve heading straight toward the officers.
The car barely swerves in time as it speeds past the officers who quickly turn around and try to track the wrong-way driver down.
Shortly after, they came upon the scene where the car crashed through the brick wall of a commercial business.
The officers' dash cam shows the driver bail out and run for it. But the officers chased him down.
Among other things, the suspect has been charged with DWI.
In releasing the video, commanders says it's to, "emphasize the very real dangers of impaired driving."
