Why are there so many children on social media? It's not what most parents want.

A new study from One Poll finds more than 60% of American parents say they don't think anyone under the age of 13 should have social media accounts.

But, mostly that goes for OTHER kids. When it comes to their own kids, almost half of parents have let their children get on social media sites.

Of those parents who let their children have social media, 70% think their kids are mature enough to be on those sites and 60% say it's important to be connected online. Thirty percent of parents don't let their own children look at any social media.
