The AT&T Byron Nelson golf tournament will be louder than last year. Tournament officials have announced that the tournament, held at TPC Craig Ranch in McKinney, will be at full capacity this year.
The tournament was canceled in 2020, and last year's capacity was limited to 25% because of COVID-19 concerns.
Tickets went on sale on Tuesday.
"We are looking forward to welcoming all of our fans out to TPC Craig Ranch and providing the kind of world-class entertainment that the AT&T Byron Nelson has been known for over the last 54 years," Clay Duvall, AT&T Byron Nelson Tournament Chairman said.
The tournament has commitments from top players like Jordan Spieth and Scottie Scheffler and will release more names at their kickoff luncheon in a few weeks.
The Nelson is hosted by the Salesmanship Club of Dallas. The tournament has raised over $172 million for Momentous Institute, including $5.5 million in 2021.
Duvall feels the tournament will be a success again because of the support of the North Texas community.
"The city of McKinney has been fantastic," Duvall said. "We're excited about getting a sellout this year, which we anticipate having."
