A documented biker gang member is going to prison for 50 years for a 2020 stabbing death in Sansom Park.

The victim, Christopher Johnson, was stabbed in the back in the parking lot of Eight Ball Billiards & Bar on Jacksboro Highway. Prosecutors argued that biker David McCurdy, a known member of the Pagans biker gang, believed Johnson was affiliated with the Hell's Angels - a rival gang.

Last year, McCurdy was captured at a Pagan rally in Hunt County. McCurdy was convicted of murder and five other counts like aggravated assault and engaging in organized criminal activity.

The total prison time on all counts is 180 years but the judge ordered the sentences be served concurrently.
