Through body cam video, we're getting an up-close view of a dramatic recue in Garland yesterday.
Two men were in a car that crashed on Forest Lane in front of Garland police headquarters. One man was ejected on impact but the other was trapped in the wreckage just as the car was catching on fire.
The video shows two officers approach the burning car and use their combined strength to pull the trapped man out of the car all with the flames burning around them.
Both men were rushed to the hospital where it was determined their injuries were not life-threatening.
Despite the smoke and flames, the officers were not hurt.
