Beginning tomorrow, The United States will open its borders to vaccinated travelers from more than two-dozen counties, provided those travelers have proof of a COVID-19 vaccine.
This is good news for the Texas economy since many Mexican Nationals come here to shop for the holidays. It also means things will step up at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport where there's been a dramatic slowdown in international travel since the pandemic began. Fewer flights meant many of the restaurants and businesses in the terminal closed or significantly reduced hours.

Travelers now will be allowed into the country from not only Mexico but China, India, and most of Europe without being required to quarantine upon arrival.
According to the Dallas Morning News, 165 international flights are scheduled at DFW Airport on Monday, while this December they will be offering non-stop international flights to 61 destinations - a record for the airport which they first hit in 2019.
