The Tarrant County Commissioners Court extends the county's burn ban for another 90 days.
It comes as the Texas Forest Service has determined that despite recent rains, the county remains in drought conditions.
Anyone caught doing any outdoor burning during the burn ban faces fines of up to $500.
The burn ban officially applies to unincorporated areas of the county; all incorporated areas have burn bans in place 365 days a year.
