The Carrollton-Farmers Branch school board has selected a new Superintendent, naming Wendy Eldredge as the lone finalist for the job left vacant when Superintendent John Chapman resigned in September.
Chapman resigned to take the top job in the Comal school district in New Braunfels.
Since 2019, Eldredge has been Superintendent of Crandall schools. Before that, she was a top administrator in the Garland school district.
By law, Carrollton-Farmers Branch must hold off for a 21-day waiting period before making the hiring official.
Since Chapman's resignation, the district has been led by interim Superintendent Brian Moersch.
