A truck driver from Carrolton is gaining recognition, for saving the lives of a high school football team.
Alvin Edwards was driving through Kentucky when he noticed that a school bus was on fire.

He got the school bus driver to pull over, and then he sprung into action.
Everyone was able to get out safely.
The team honored Edwards by inviting him back to Kentucky for a rivalry football game.
He even got a key to the city
A local dealership also loaned Edwards a brand new Dodge pickup truck to drive while he was in town.
