Suspected serial killer Billy Chermirmir has been indicted on four new counts of capital murder according to a press release from Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis.
"Today I am proud to announce that the Grand Jury of Collin County has indicted Billy Chemirmir for four additional cases of capital murder," Willis said.
The new cases attributed to Chermirmir are those of Helen Lee (82), Marilyn Bixler (90), Diane Delahunty (79), and Mamie Miya (93) - all of whom were murdered in either Frisco or Plano in 2017.
Chemirmir was found guilty of capital murder in the death of Lu Thi Harris back in April in Dallas County. Chemirmir received an automatic life sentence without the possibility of parole.
Chemirmir now faces a total of 22 murder indictments - 13 in Dallas County and nine in Collin County.
"These indictments should serve as a reminder that every victim of a violent crime deserves to have their case investigated and prosecuted, and Collin County law enforcement and prosecutors will work every day to hold violent offenders accountable. I’d like to thank the Grand Jury for their diligent consideration of these cases, and I’d like to recognize the Frisco Police Department and the Plano Police Department for their investigative efforts that led to these indictments," Willis said.
In a statement, the families of the new victims said in part: "These indictments are another step in holding Billy Chemirmir accountable for the full extent of his horrible crimes."
