MANSFIELD (1080 KRLD)- Classes are canceled for the rest of the week at Timberview High School in the Mansfield district. Because of yesterday's in-class shooting, the school will be closed until next Tuesday.

All extra-curriculars including athletics are also canceled. The parent-teacher conferences that were scheduled for Friday are postponed, as well.

Since Monday was already a scheduled holiday for Columbus Day, administrators decided waiting until Tuesday to return to campus would be best.

For any students who would like to speak to a crisis counselor, the district has arranged for two off-campus sites -- Word of Truth Church on Webb Ferrell Road and the Mansfield district's Center for the Performing Arts. The doors open at both locations at 7:25 a.m.

Video of the fight that is presumed to have led to the shooting Wednesday has surfaced on social media and gone viral in the last 24 hours.
