Dallas (1080 KRLD) - A lawsuit's been filed over the estate of country music superstar Charley Pride.
The suit's been filed by a son that many never knew Charley Pride had, but a paternity test confirmed. Tyler Pride of Lindale says he often spoke with his father and that the two had a good relationship.
Pride's widow tells NBC 5 in Dallas that there was never any talk of adding Tyler to the will.
Tyler was the product of an affair Charlie Pride had with a flight attendant. He says his suit is not about the money, but about being recognized as Charley Pride's son.
