Students in the Dallas ISD will be able to get a rapid COVID-19 test on-campus this fall.
Classes will be entirely in-person, and DISD officials say having those tests readily available for both students and employees is part of their focus on safety.
Tests will be available at the school nurse's office on each campus. Results will be available in about 15 minutes. Students under the age of 18 will need to have permission form signed by their parent or guardian.
The Dallas ISD is also providing personal protective equipment on campuses and encouraging students to wear face masks.
