The Dallas Independent School District is sending a warning to parents about a new trend on TikTok.
It is known as the "Devious Licks Challenge" and it has led students all across the country, to steal items from both classrooms and restrooms.
Many of these incidents have resulted in vandalism and damage to school property.
TikTok has stated they do not allow content that promotes or enables criminal activities, and that the challenge goes against the platform’s community guidelines.
The app has also stated that it will remove any videos associated with the trend.
DISD says that it is investigating every single incident that takes place on all of its campuses.
If any student is caught, they will be prosecuted and may face fines or even jail time.
