The Dallas woman who opened fire at Dallas Love Field airport in July before she was wounded by police has been indicted.

A Dallas County grand jury returned a single-count indictment on Wednesday accusing 37-year old Portia Odufuwa of aggravated assault against a public servant.

On July 25th Odufuwa was shot numerous times by Dallas police after she emerged from a bathroom with a gun when and began randomly shooting near the Southwest Airline ticket counter at Dallas Love Field.

Video of the shooting showed Odufuwa aiming her gun in the air and then pointing it at police who were in the airport.

The charge of aggravated assault against a public servant is for shooting at officer Ronald Cronin. Odufuwa recovered from several gunshot wounds and is still being held in the Dallas County jail.

Court records show Odufuwa has been previously arrested for arson, bank robbery and numerous misdemeanors, not that all the cases were ultimately dismissed. One court record shows a judge found Odufuwa mentally unfit for trial.

A man who is from Odufuwa's old neigborhood, and knows her, says the Love Field shooting is consistent with her actions.
