Dallas (1080 KRLD) - According to Dallas Police, a suspected road rage shooter is now in jail charged with murder.
The shooting happened on Thursday afternoon on South Hampton Road in Dallas. Police say they discovered 18-year-old Jason Soto shot inside his car. He was rushed to the hospital, but he did not survive.
Witnesses told police that before he was killed, there was some sort of road rage incident between Soto and another man.
"Through the course of this investigation, detectives learned the suspect, Thomas Rodriguez Jr., a 27-year-old Latin male, was responsible for the murder," says Senior Corporal Brian Martinez with Dallas Police.
Rodriguez was arrested and booked into the Dallas County jail on a charge of murder.
