A 20-year-old hit by a stray bullet in a shooting over the weekend in south Dallas has died.
Police say Andrew Hernandez was with a 19-year-old woman waiting on a ride when both were hit by the gunfire.
It happened just after midnight on Saturday, near Meyers Street and Al Lipscomb Way in south Dallas.
Detectives say 30-year-old Lawanda Williams pulled out a gun and started shooting wildly after getting into an argument with a 22-year-old woman. That woman was injured, along with Hernandez and the 19-year-old.
Williams was arrested and initially faced three charges of aggravated assault, but now faces a murder charge.
