Dallas (1080 KRLD) - Dallas Police have reported that a 27-year-old man has died after being shot during an argument.
According to Police, they received a shooting call at approximately 9:23 a.m. on Saturday, July 10th. Upon arrival at the scene, located in the 6700 block of Atha Drive, they discovered the victim, Joshua Donald Moore, on the ground having suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
After being transported to a hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue, Moore was pronounced dead.
Police say that Moore was arguing with an unnamed individual when Moore withdrew a knife and tried to stab the other.
The individual then shot Moore in self-defense.
They were interviewed by Homicide Detectives and have since been released pending a referral by the Dallas County grand jury.
