Dallas man indicted in murder of teen Lancaster football all-star

A Dallas County grand jury has leveled a murder indictment against a Dallas man who was arrested for killing a Lancaster football all-star last month.

18-year old Keyshawn Harris is accused of pulling a gun and shooting Lancaster High School senior Tony Evans last year at a Love Field area hotel.

Sources say Evans last words before he was shot were "you good?' The cause of the dispute between the two teenagers has not been disclosed.

KRLD legal analyst Ed Klein says the felony murder indictment differs from a capital murder case in a major respect, a defendant can qualify for parole.

Evans was a standout wide receiver who had been expected to play for the University of Wyoming before he was killed.

Harris is being held on a $1 million bond.
