With the deaths of at least three women in three months, a Dallas man has been arrested and charged with murder in relation to the case.
Dallas Police say they have charged 25-year-old Oscar Sanchez Garcia in connection with the deaths of 60-year-old Kimberly Robinson, 25-year-old Cherish Gibson and and yet to be unidentified woman whose remains were found in the Trinity River bottoms over the weekend.
Two of the known women have ties to prostitution, accoring to police. Their bodies were found in Southwest Dallas over the last four months.
Investigators say Robinson and Gibson were both found stabbed to death but the Medical Examiner has not ruled on the cause of the third victim's death.
Detectives have not divulged their reasons for charging Garcia or what led them to him. He is being held on a $4 million bond.
Jail records indicate Garcia was arrested for domestic assault causing bodily injury back in March.
