A Dallas officer is on restrictive duty after discharging his weapon while on a trespassing call.

Police say the call came in last week that there was a woman squatting in a vacant apartment off Lemmon Ave. near the Uptown area.
When police got to the scene, the manager gave them permission to break through the locked door.
The body cam video shows officer Dekoven Joshlin kicking in the door, pointing his flashlight and firing one shot into the apartment, which hit no one.
He says it appears the shooting was accidental.
The woman inside was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass.
