Responding to a call for assistance from Dallas Fire-Rescue, a police officer was injured when their car was struck by an oncoming vehicle on Saturday morning.
Police say the officer was en route to 11402 Harry Hines Boulevard when the squad car was struck at around 2:41 a.m. per NBCDFW.
The officer was subsequently transported to a local hospital in a stable condition by Dallas Fire-Rescue. The citizen involved remained on location and was uninjured per police.
