The search continues for a road rage shooter police say put a pregnant woman in the hospital.
It happened around 10 p.m. Friday night in Southeast Dallas, near Great Trinity Forest Way and Murdock Road. Police say the woman was riding with her boyfriend when the two got caught up in some kind of road rage incident. At some point, someone pulled out a gun and shot the woman, then sped away.
"The woman was eight-and-a-half months pregnant," says Sgt. Tramese Jones with Dallas police. "We're thankful that doctors were able to deliver the baby. The baby is doing well, however the mother remains in critical condition."
The shooter is still on the loose and police are asking for help finding them. Anyone who saw the incident or who knows who the shooter could be is asked to call 911.
