Just before midnight, police say they got calls about a possible intoxicated driver near Lynn Creek Park at Joe Pool Lake. Officers pulled the car over and the driver turned out to be Dallas police officer Brandon Innes.

Innes was arrested and held while Grand Prairie PD contacted Dallas police. Commanders were sent to the Grand Prairie police headquarters to collect Innes's police credentials. He's now on forced leave while Dallas PD finishes an internal investigation.

Innes has been with Dallas police department since 2006. In 2011, there was another incident where it was determined he was driving drunk when his pick-up struck a retaining wall while he was off-duty.
