
The Dallas Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating the suspects involved in two separate store thefts in April.
The first incident (case number 061517-2022) took place at around 5 p.m. on April 8th at a Family Dollar store, located at 9122 Elam Road.
Police say the suspect threatened the cashier with a handgun and took $240. They are said to have fled the scene in an older model tan or silver Dodge Durango. The car is said to have had a "For Sale" sign on the windshield written in shoe polish. It had stock rims and no license plates.
The second incident (case number 063676-2022) took place at 12:30 a.m. on April 12th at the 7-Eleven located at 4024 Ross Avenue. This suspect also used a handgun to threaten the cashier, leaving with $150.
