Dallas Police have released body camera video of last week's officer-involved shooting where a suspect was shot and killed. Officers were first called to the home in the Pleasant Grove area of Southeast Dallas Thursday night for a report of domestic violence.
Chief Eddie Garcia says officers found the suspect had shot and injured two family members after they confronted him over loud music. Garcia says officers gave first aid to the victims, and they were taken to the hospital.
As officers processed the crime scene, Garcia says other officers began a search for Bryan Casillas, 20. Southeast Patrol officers searched from the ground; DPS provided a helicopter.
Among the officers was Senior Corporal Scott Jay and his K9 partner, Figor.

"The commitment these two have to one another is like no other bond," Garcia says.
Garcia showed body camera footage showing them track Casillas through a wooded area. They found Casillas about 2:30 a.m. Friday.
Video shows Figor barking and then shrieking. Garcia says Figor was shot in the chest. Garcia says Jay was then shot twice: once in the leg and once in the chest.
Jay returned fire, killing Casillas.
Video then shows other officers giving first aid and putting a tourniquet on Jay's leg.
"Let me get my dog," Jay says in the video. "The suspect's down."
Garcia says both Jay and Figor survived. Garcia says Jay has a "heavy limp" and will need about six weeks to recover. Garcia thanked Dallas Animal Emergency for saving Figor.
"God wasn't ready for two warriors that night," he says. "These warriors did their duty in the face of evil."
Garcia says this was the third officer-involved shooting in Dallas this year where someone fired at police.
"This is despicable and deplorable, but my message to the residents of the City of Dallas is that this department will not stop. These men and women will continue to sacrifice with what is most dear to the city," he says. "The actions of Senior Corporal Jay and K9 Officer Figor not only made a chief proud but a department and the city proud as well."
