Dallas is a wonderful city, but even if you love living here more than anything, no doubt you'll agree that the traffic is something not to be celebrated.

In fact, a new poll from Outdoorsy found that Dallas is the absolute WORST city in the entire country for people to drive in, based on date from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Outdoorsy compiled data to create a metric of "traffic safety indicators" for each city, and looked at the "collision likelihood relative to the U.S. average, the total motor vehicle fatalities per 100,000 people, and the percentage of fatal collisions involving a drunk driver," and found that Dallas ranked as the absolute worst city to drive in.

And unfortunately, a couple of other Texas towns also found their way into the top ten.

The top ten WORST cities are as follows:
1 - Dallas, TX
2 - Baton Rouge, LA
3 - San Bernardino, CA
4 - New Orleans, LA
5 - Atlanta, GA
6 - Fort Worth, TX
7 - Detroit, MI
8 - Houston, TX
9 - Cincinatti, OH
10 - Cleveland, OH

The top ten SAFEST cities to drive in are:
1 - Cary, NC
2 - Overland Park, KS
3 - Gilbert, AZ
4 - Olathe, KS
5 - Oxnard, CA
6 - Boise, ID
7 - Naperville, IL
8 - Madison, WI
