A north Dallas teenager is being held on a murder charge over the shooting death of another teen, a 14-year-old.
Law enforcement officials say because the accused shooter and the victim are both 14-years-old, police are not releasing a lot of details.
Police will say that just a week ago today one of the teens shot the other. It happened in an apartment on Merit Drive, near I-635 and Coit Road in north Dallas.
Reports say the victim was hospitalized for a week before dying of the wounds Wednesday night.
Police arrested the suspected shooter on a murder charge, saying they do not believe the shooting was an accident.
