Deadly shootings reported again across DFW over the weekend

Man fatally shot in West Oak Cliff
A man is dead in Dallas and his killer is still on the run. On Sunday, police say the victim was found shot in the back in a parking lot on Moulin Rouge Drive near Westmoreland in West Oak Cliff.

Paramedics got him to the hospital but it was too late to save his life. Witnesses saw the killer running from the scene but police don't know who he is or why he did it.

Man dies in Dallas when a fight turns to gunfire
A brawl led to a deadly shooting in west Oak Cliff over the weekend. Reports say it began late Saturday night with a fight in a field on Keats near Texas Street.

Police say a man named Jacob Bautista was involved in the fight when another man named Israel Martinez showed up and hands Bautista a hand-gun used to pistol whip the man he's fighting with.

Another man pulls a gun and fired several rounds, hitting both Martinez and Bautista. Martinez died at the hospital but Bautista survived. Dallas police are turning over their information for a grand jury to consider charges.

Teen wounded in drive-by shooting in Fort Worth
A teenager is in the hospital after being wounded in a Fort Worth drive-by shooting on Sunday. Police say the 14-year-old was inside a home on Lipscomb Street near I-35 and Biddison when a vehicle drove by and someone opened fire.

At least one round penetrated the home and the teen was hit. Police say the wound is not life-threatening. The gang unit is assisting in the investigation.

Motorcyclist shot in possible road rage in Azle
A motorcyclist is in the hospital after being shot while riding in Azle yesterday.

Police say the victim was on Highway 199 near Normandy Avenue when he was shot by a driver. The motorcyclist crashed and he was found in the middle of the road.

Good Samaritans cared for him until paramedics arrived to do CPR and then a Care-Flite helicopter arrived to fly him to the hospital. His condition has not been released. So far, police don't know who the gunman is or why he did it.
