They are handy men and women - lending a hand to hundreds of homeowners in need. They're this week's KRLD Difference Makers.
As Executive Director of Servolution Network Jason Malewiski and hundreds of volunteers help the most desperate people.
“Servolution Network is a non-profit that loves God and loves people,” Jason Malewiski. “We try and serve the community in any way we can. We’ve got a ‘Good Neighbors Program’ where we revitalize houses a couple times a year. We chose the name Servolution Network for a reason…because you know people I don’t know and I know people you don’t know and together we can do a lot of amazing things.”
Things like changing the lives of hundreds of people with their Good Neighbors Blitz where they will rehabilitate dilapidated homes.
“Since 2014, we’ve revitalized 144 homes,” he said.
They rehab everything from roofs, to foundations to landscaping and if we can do windows, we do windows. We try to give people a hand up, not a handout, ” Jason said.
Hundreds of volunteers come together to revitalize homes and hearts.
“It’s life-changing. People usually reach out to us when they are desperate and when they have not been able to find any other resources to help and we do our best to rally the community to come together to love on them,” Jason said.
Along with caring for his 5 adopted children, one of Jason Malewiski's passions is serving others.
