DPS troopers are still working on the cause of a single-car crash that killed a man in Wise County Sunday.
The driver's car crashed into a tree on FM 51 near Slidell and he died at the scene.
No other vehicles were involved and investigators don't yet know why the victim lost control of his car.
The victim was identified as 34-year-old Martin Perez of Decatur, Sgt. William Lockridge, spokesperson for the Texas Department of Public Safety, told the Wise County Messenger.
