There are a lot of questions today about our environment. Most of us agree, over the last 50 years the weather has changed. It seems storms are more extreme, droughts are more widespread, and the growing season has changed. Studies have shown that one of the top concerns causing anxiety among students is Climate Change and what that looks like for their generation.
This coming Saturday April 22nd, at Fair Park in Dallas, EarthX.org is hosting a Climate Adaptation Conference focusing on a "Just the Facts" assessment of our current environment.
The conference is drawing visitors concerned about our planet's environment from all around the world. It's a specialized conference with speakers from the highest level of science and technology. The speakers will be talking about what realistic "Adaptations" we need to make considering the climate change that has already taken place.
For this reason all students of all ages are free with a valid student ID. This includes college students, grad students and those studying for their doctorate degree. Students do need to register at EarthX.org to attend the conference. Other climate adaptation conference participants will receive a deep discount registration using the code climadapt100.
The EarthX23 Expo at Fair Park Dallas starts Friday the 21st and runs through Sunday the 23rd, and is free to the public. The event includes a lot of great music, food trucks, entertainment, along with lots of science exhibits. It's a great Earth Day Weekend event for the whole family.
