An 89-year-old man died in Arlington when his electric bicycle collided with a pick-up truck on Sunday.
About 11:30 a.m. police and paramedics found Byron Lightbody lying unconscious on the street along New York Avenue near Lynn Creek.
Lightbody was rushed to Medical City Arlington where he died about a half-hour later.
Arlington police report the truck was heading south on New York when the electric bicycle crossed right in front of it and collided with the truck.
The driver stopped and called 9-1-1 and stayed at the scene and answered police questions. Arlington PD says no charges have been filed.
