Ennis Police: Amber Alert for 7-month-old boy canceled after being found safe, mother in custody

Ennis (1080 KRLD) - Ennis Police have confirmed that the Amber Alert for a 7-month-old boy has been canceled after he was found safe in Parker County. The boy's mother is in custody.

Police had previously said Miguel Ramirez was taken from his father's home by the boy's mother, 20-year-old Faith Reid and 25-year-old Marcus Nast Thursday morning in a white Ford F-150 Extended cab truck.

Accompanied by Nast, Reid took the child from the 900 block of Shawnee in Ennis.

Miguel's father followed both Reid and Nast out of the house with the two men becoming involved in an altercation, during which Nast drew a handgun and threatened to shoot the father.

Ennis Police said they had last been seen along North Shawnee in Ennis around 10:30 a.m. on Thursday.
