After being canceled last year because of COVID-19, North Texas festivals are making a comeback.
However, doctors and health care workers are asking people not to let their guard down.
Experts say that before you attend a fall festival, you should get fully vaccinated, and continue to wear your mask, even when you are outdoors.
The largest festival in the region, "The State Fair of Texas" opens on Friday and could see as many as 100,000 people in attendance on any given day.
