The father of a murdered Dallas boy has been arrested on unrelated warrants in Harris County.
Trevor Gernon's four-year-old son Cash was abducted from a Dallas home last month. He was found stabbed to death about eight blocks away.
An 18-year-old is jailed on Capital Murder charges in Cash's death.
Cash and a sibling were left in the care of Trevor Gernon's girlfriend, reportedly after he missed a Harris County court date on felony drug charges along with fraud and car theft counts.
He's been on the run since but yesterday he was pulled over for a traffic stop in Harris County. When deputies realized who he is and found his warrants, they booked him into the Harris County Jail.
