The quarterback who led one of TCU's greatest comebacks is reported to be in a San Antonio hospital with what his former coach Gary Patterson calls "serious injuries."
Patterson put out a tweet last night saying he just wanted all Frogs to keep Bram Kohlhausen in your prayers. "He suffered serious injuries and is (in) ICU in San Antonio. He will need all your help and prayers!"
Patterson does not say how Kohlhausen was hurt and there have been no public statements from police.
Last night, TCU Football also tweeted "keeping Bram and the Kohlhausen family in our thoughts and prayers."
Kohlhausen is now 30-years-old. He played two seasons for the Frogs in 2014 and 2015. As a walk-on, Kohlhausen had never started a game for TCU until the 2016 Alamo Bowl where he started in place of Trevone Boykin who was suspended because of a bar fight the week of the game.
At half-time of that game, the Frogs were down 31-0. But Kohlhausen engineered a second half comeback and the Frogs beat the Oregon Ducks in triple overtime. In his one-and-only start for an NCAA D-1 school he was the offensive MVP of the Alamo Bowl.
