A Kaufman County woman has been arrested on charges of assaulting a public servant and interfering with public duties.
The arrest stems from an incident in Forney where police restrained a teenager who had been reported to be running in-and-out of traffic.
Cell phone video of the incident has been widely viewed on social media. The video shows the 18-year-old woman on the ground with a Kaufman County deputy lying on top her while pinning her arms to the ground.

Bystanders can be seen and heard imploring the deputy to let her up. Eventually, the young woman is handcuffed and, while she's being led away, her mother approaches and appears to reach toward her daughter.
One deputy then handcuffs Antanique Ray, telling he she's being arrested for interference.
The Kaufman County Sheriff's Office has posted a Facebook requesting that the public to refrain from calling our non-emergency number as it is creating an unmanageable call volume.
