A man is in the hospital after he was shot in the chest in south Fort Worth Tuesday night.
Just before 10 p.m. a 911 call came in reporting a brawl going on near Morningside Park at the intersection of Glen Garden and Mississippi Drive.
The caller reported 18 to 20 people were fighting when one of them pulled a gun and opened fire.
Police got there to find a man lying in the road with a gunshot wound in the chest.
Even so, he was able to converse and told police the shooter was a man he does not know.
The victim was taken to the hospital, reported to be in stable condition.
The shooter has not yet been caught.
Police don't know what the fight was all about.
