San Antonio-based H-E-B grocery stores and the founding Butt family have committed $10 million to build a new elementary school in Uvalde, Texas to replace Robb Elementary.

The soon-to-be-razed school is where a gunman murdered 19 children and two teachers last month.

H-E-B's chairman Charles Butt says "as we continue to mourn tremendous loss, I join with my family and HEB in working to ensure the Uvalde community can move forward from this tragic event."

Also, Fort Worth-based Huckabee Architects, which specializes in designing public schools, has offered free services to design the new school.
