In Fort Worth students are back in classrooms where masks are encouraged but not mandated, but that could change after the school board holds a special meeting tonight to discuss the districts mask policy.
The special meeting comes as the Fort Worth ISD Board of Trustees voted to require masks at the start of the school year, only to have that mandate halted by a temporary restraining order.
That court case is one of three that the board will discuss in executive session and possibly take action on.
Prior to the executive session, there will be a public comment period.
As of yesterday afternoon, some two-dozen people have signed up to speak.
