A Chinese plastics and auto parts company is scheduled to open a 55,000 square foot manufacturing plant in south Fort Worth to make parts for electric vehicles.

The new business on Campus Drive about a mile south of I-20 will be Junchuang North America's research and development hub, based on information supplied by the Fort Worth Economic Development Partnership.

The company makes parts for major makers like Ford, Jaguar, General Motors and Land Rover.

Junchuang plans to spend more than $20 million to get the plant up and running by 2025, creating around 120 jobs once it's fully operational.
