This year's top honor went to a steer named "Steve," and he was shown by Tristan Himes from the Sterling County 4-H.

As the Grand Champion Steer, Steve will be the first one auctioned off at the Junior Sale of Champions on Saturday morning and is expected to fetch hundreds of thousands of dollars.

The Grand Champion Steer two years ago, a Hereford named Cupid Shuffle, sold for a record $300,000.
