Today, the Wednesday of Spring Break week, is one of the half-price days at the Fort Worth Zoo and they are ready for a big crowd.

Fort Worth Zoo administrators say the week of Spring Break, plus the weekends before and after, are some of their busiest periods accounting for about ten percent of their annual attendance.

Half-price Wednesdays are part of the Zoo's year-round routine but today is expected to be unusually crowded, especially since there's no rain in the forecast and we're expecting blue skies and temperatures near 70.

They'll be ready with full staffing all around; the ticket booths, restaurants, merchandise stands and in the guest relations office.

The Zoo's hours today are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Naturally, the Dallas Zoo is also expecting big crowds today. Those hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
