Continuing a quest to promote the diverse and talented group of musicians from Fort Worth, the Fort Worth Public Library is announcing their second "Amplify 817 Showcase" concert, on Friday, August 18 at Will Rogers Auditorium.

The free show features all Fort Worth-based artists, including Amanda Victoria, Phantomelo, Denver Williams and headliner Lou CharLe$.

"It's really exciting," Lou CharLe$ says of the diverse Fort Worth music scene. "When you see Fort Worth, regardless of the genre...it's dope to see people winning, regardless of the genre."

CharLe$ is also pumped for the chance to headline the Amplify 817 Showcase.

"They're all quality 817 musicians," CharLe$ says of the other acts on the schedule. "It's going to be a great night. I love that it's free, so that you have no excuse to not be out there. It's going to be high-energy, a good time, spotlighting what I think is one of Fort Worth's best exports, which is its music scene."
