A Fort Worth police officer has been suspended after his indictment on charges he used the state's law enforcement records system for personal reasons.

This all started in April when the police department got a tip that officer Darrell Coker has improperly used the records system the year before.

In June, the Fort Worth PD filed a criminal case with the Tarrant County District Attorney and on Monday, Coker was arrested on a Grand Jury indictment on a charge of Breach of Computer Security.

Coker was put on unpaid suspension while the criminal case works its way through the courts
