Fort Worth Police need your help in solving a murder from several weeks ago.
On October 31st, Joshua Balcazar, 18, was attending a Halloween Party on Wilbarger St.

Shortly after 1:00 a.m. the following morning, Balcazar was shot dead as he was driving friends home.
"Joshua was in the process of dropping off his friend in the north side of Fort Worth, right in the area of the 1700 block of Kachina Lodge Rd.," says Ofc. Daniel Segura. "At that point, he was shot and killed."
Kachina Lodge Rd. is in a neighborhood near Basswood Blvd. and Blue Mound Rd.
Investigators currently have only the vaguest of descriptions of the suspect vehicle.
"A black four-door sedan was traveling near Josh's car at the time of the offense," says Ofc. Segura.
The events that led up to Balcazar's murder remain unclear.
"We don't know if something happened at the party," says Segura. "We don't know if Joshua was being followed to the point where the attack occurred."
Police are asking for the public's help in solving this murder.
"If any neighbors around that block number have some of these smart cameras, please check your footage," Segura says. "With a lot of the technology that we have in our neighborhoods, maybe somebody can check their video surveillance and maybe come up with a partial license plate or something that can narrow down this vague description."
Anyone why has any information is asked to call Det. Veronica Coronado at 817-392-4411.
