Garland police have arrested a man for firing a gun from his car.
They got the call around 10 o'clock on Sunday night about shots fired in the area of Saturn Road and Northwest Highway. Police tracked down the car and subsequently arrested 41-year-old Juan Pablo Fuerte.
He's been charged with discharging a firearm in certain municipalities, unlawful carrying of a weapon, and a DWI 2nd charge.
Police said they've been seeing an increase of people firing guns in city limits. Police want people to know that If they illegally fire a gun in Garland, they will go to jail.
