Garland Police are investigating the murder of a 22-year-old woman on Friday night in the 1700 block of South Third Street.

Police were called after neighbors in the area notified them about someone being shot. When police got there, they found the woman's body in the street.
She was pronounced dead at the hospital. Her name is being withheld until relatives are notified.
